Columbus Regionals

AMTA's Regional Tournaments are the first round of the American Mock Trial Association's annual national tournament structure.  AMTA annually will hosts 28-30 Regional tournaments in February and eight ORCS tournaments in March. Each year, AMTA hosts over 700 mock trial teams from approximately 400 universities and colleges across the country - and growing!  The top teams from each Regional tournament advance and compete in the ORCS round of competition held in March.

We are pleased to continue to use the state-of-the-art Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Columbus, Ohio as our venue.

If you have relevant law experience (former AMTA competitor, law student, attorney, etc.) and are in the area we would love to have you judge for Columbus Regionals!

We have not yet begun the formal judge recruitment process for our next invitational. Reach out to us at sginvite@gmail.com if you would like to be placed on our judging list ahead of time!

We can only host an invitational like this one through the generosity of our volunteer judges. Volunteer judges are the backbone of college mock trial. Even if you can only judge one round, the competing teams would be endlessly grateful!
